Our public library has been cooperating with Lithuania’s Public library of Panevezys since 2015 through the NAPLE – sister libraries program.
In summer 2021 we established a new sistership connection with the Public library Pyhäjoen Kirjasto in Finland. The main goal is to cooperate and exchange ideas between libraries, and work together for a quality library service. For this purpose, the Library in Pyhäjoki in Finland has prepared an exhibition on Slovenia and Slovenian literature in their library while our Library in Škofja Loka has highlighted the children’s literature of Finnish youth writers.
